WHAT IS
CELEBRATE RECOVERY?
CR is a biblical base, 12-step program open to anyone looking for freedom from their HURTS, HANG-UPS, HABITS.
Watch this short video from Johnny Baker, the pastor of Celebrate Recovery, as he goes more in depth about what you can expect when you attend Celebrate Recovery.
-
Large Group (6:30pm to 7:30pm)
During the first hour, everyone meets together to worship and listen to a teaching or testimony.
-
Open Share Groups (7:30PM-8:30PM)
After Large Group, attendees will break out into separate gender-specific and issue-specific groups. Newcomers can attend a special session designed to learn more about CR called Newcomers 101.
Celebrate Recovery Small Groups Can:
Provide you a safe place to share your experiences, strengths and hopes with others who are going through the “Principles” in a Christ-Centered recovery program.
Provide you a group leader who has gone through a similar hurt, hang-up or habit that will facilitate the group as it focuses on a particular principle each week. The leader will also keep Celebrate Recovery’s “5 Group Guidelines.”
Provide you with the opportunity to find accountability partner(s) and a sponsor.
Encourage you to attend other recovery meetings held throughout the week.
Celebrate Recovery Small Groups Will Not:
Attempt to offer any professional clinical advice. Our leaders are not counselors.
Allow its members to attempt to fix one another.
-
